Brought to you by the CT Early Childhood Alliance

Advocacy Academy

State Rep Robert Sanchez with advocates at the CT Early Childhood Alliance 2024 Advocacy Day

We hear it all the time:

  • Folks are passionate about issues that matter to them.

  • They want to make a difference in their communities.

  • They want to share ideas and work with policymakers to make systemic changes that will improve people’s lives.

Rep. Maria Horn discusses Early Childhood issues with Merrill Gay (CT Early Childhood Alliance) and Fran Chappell (Canaan Child Care)

But we also hear that people:

  • don’t feel confident about advocating

  • don’t understand the legislative process

  • feel overwhelmed and don’t know where to start

  • are nervous about speaking at a hearing

  • think their voice doesn’t matter to lawmakers

and we’re here to help.

CT Early Childhood Alliance is proud to present:

If you want to help make changes that matter, but wish you had someone to show you how it all works, this course is for you.

Best of all, CT Early Childhood Alliance member organizations receive FREE enrollment!
