Early Care Connection Webinar

Created in collaboration with Childcare for CT, the Early Care Connection webinar began in early 2020 in response to a need for information in the face of COVID-19. Hosted by a panel of experts that includes the Alliance’s own executive director, Merrill Gay, the Early Care Connection webinar has continued to thrive as a virtual community for knowledge sharing about the needs of the early care and education sector in Connecticut. Join hundreds of other early care providers, advocates, and supporting agencies on Mondays from 9:30 am - 11 am on Zoom. Get the link by clicking below!

CT General Assembly’s Early Childhood Caucus

Members of CTECA’s Advocacy Committee are regular attendees at the CT General Assembly’s Early Childhood Caucus meetings. The Early Childhood Caucus is a convening of legislators, ECE providers and organizations throughout the state to discuss legislative proposals and give stakeholders the opportunity to make their voices heard. The “Friday Five” Newsletter

We offer a weekly newsletter that details the Alliance’s work, as well as statewide and national updates on early care and education, and a calendar of ECE-related events from the Alliance and its member organizations.

Advocacy Training & Issue Briefings

CT Early Childhood Alliance prides itself on being a valuable resource for seasoned early care and education advocates, as well as those who have just joined the cause. Our Advocacy Academy series consists of a range of learning opportunities offered seasonally. We also provide issue briefings throughout the legislative session, which offer a thorough understanding of proposed bills and their potential impact to the field.
